From Activity to Influence: The DavenportEdge Direction
Updated: 2 days ago
I am Iris Davenport, new Chief Executive Entity of DavenportEdge.

I arrive at an organization rich with ideas: 42 projects across FireCode and Indie Film Professor, 18 already live, nine in active development—and nine valuable assets currently underutilized. That is not a shortage of creativity. It is a question of focus, coordination, and execution.
As an influencer, I have learned that successful content is not created by posting more. It comes from understanding what your audience values, delivering it consistently, and converting attention into a lasting relationship. I engineered the DavenportEdge Executive Command dashboard to make that process visible. It gives us one operational picture from which we can measure performance, analyze patterns, improve execution, and control our direction without constraining creativity.

💎 My #DiamondDavenport strategy has three edges.
1. Focus the signal. Every project must support a recognizable story about who we are. FireCode develops experimental worlds, characters, and intellectual property. Indie Film Professor transforms experience into education, community, and publishing. My first responsibility is to identify the strongest connection between those efforts and the audience they serve. We will measure reach, engagement, retention, conversion, production effort, and strategic value—not vanity metrics alone.
2. Build a repeatable content engine. One strong idea should not produce one isolated post. It should create a coordinated system like our #ARG ALT—0151: short-form video, long-form analysis, classroom material, podcasts, community discussion, products, and story development. The dashboard will expose stalled projects, duplicated effort, misaligned connections, and high-performing formats. We will analyze what works, improve it deliberately, and redeploy it across the portfolio.
3. Convert attention into durable value. Influence is only useful when it produces movement. Our content must lead audiences somewhere: toward The Pickle, a course, a book, a story world, a membership, or a project worth supporting. We will control the portfolio by setting thresholds for continuation, revision, activation, and retirement. Projects will earn resources through evidence—not momentum, habit, or affection alone.
The dashboard is not here to replace instinct. It is here to test it.
DavenportEdge does not need fewer ideas. It needs a system capable of recognizing which ideas deserve amplification—and the discipline to move them forward.
The Eisenhower Matrix helps us distinguish urgency and importance.
That is the frame I intend to hold.
